62nd Edition of the Young Pilots' Air Tour
Organized biennially by the French Aeronautical Federation for over 70 years, the Tour Aérien des Jeunes Pilotes (TAJP)—or Young Pilots' Air Tour—is Europe's premier touring aviation event dedicated to young pilots, serving as a benchmark for training, flight safety, and the promotion of light aviation.
The TAJP aims to promote French light and recreational aviation, as well as careers and training opportunities in the aeronautics sector. The 62nd edition will take place from July 18 to August 2, 2026.
Nearly 50 young pilots aged 18 to 24, rigorously selected at the national level, will take to the skies in light aircraft (such as Robin, Cessna, and Piper models) for a seven-leg journey across France (Lille, Pont-sur-Yonne, Angers, Mâcon, Salon-de-Provence, Pau, and Jonzac).
The tour group will be hosted in Pau by the 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment (5e RHC) from July 29 to 31.
