Suspension of the Pau-Orly route

Suspension of the Pau-Orly route

Transavia has announced the suspension of its Pau-Orly route on October 27.

Transavia indicates that "despite adjustments to the frequencies and schedule, and a proactive pricing policy against competition from the Orly-Tarbes route, the level of demand on the Paris Orly - Pau route remains insufficient to ensure the economic balance and sustainability of the route. Therefore, Transavia France has taken the decision to suspend the Pau service from Paris Orly for the 2024 winter season."

Pau remains connected to the capital by 4 daily flights operated by Air France to Paris Charles-de-Gaulle, with schedules that allow for a round trip in both directions in the same day. Discussions are underway to restore a service to Orly.
